The Shadow Keeper

[Quote]

In The Large Lands Of Averyl,
There Lives The Equine Inhabitants, Ruled By A Large Dictator Of The Shadows.
While Many Suffice To His Power, Others Are Cruelly Dominated By Him, But It Seems That Hope For Another Ruler Has Faded. For, Before The One Known As Region,There Ruled Another..
He Was Called Aqulge (A-Pull-J), A Stag That Was Sheeted With Pure Ebony And Splashed With Cream Markings, He Held The Power Of His Position With Humbleness And Much Dedication. The Many Equines That Strode Beneath Him All Seemed To Respect His Opinion And Ways Of Ruling. They All Thought That He Would Be With Them Till The End. They Were Wrong...
No One Knows Much About Region's History, Only That He Came Into The Lands, Bringing Monsters From The Gates Of Hell, And Took Over Averyl. Destroying The Last King Of Purity And Blanketing The Land With A Shadow Of Hatred.
Will A New Rebellion Srike, Or Will The Land Of Averyl Be Left To The Fate Of The Shadows...?

-Region-
You fall into my iron heart, You fall into the pitts of Doom...

Since the defeat of Aqulge, my sallow daggers have steadied me into the king of Averyl, the King that every Equine will fear, the king that throws a blanket over this land, covering what was once light, into darkness...
Every newborn foal will be taught my name as they're first words, to fear my pressence and the evil I flood into Averyl the evil that no horse has ever experienced before...
My words are of much importance, forget them and be misled into the shadowy darkness of death, ignore them? Your fait will come.
My hide is of a raging red representing the blood of the so many innocent I have murdered, and my mane and tail, the ebony that your eyes will never forget.
My eyes indulge upon the blood splattered bodies of my victims, lying limp upon the frosted grass of the inky pink sunset, for death and destruction are my two main traits and have been since I slaughtered my own father when just a three year old.
I was strong, but I wanted more than strength, I desired to be the most powerful, darkest horse in this world and the next and I dont care how I got there. But now that I have forfilled my cruel ambition I am in a position to cast any spell I want over anything I want...
During the past I have forcebred and stolen many mares, only one was to stay with me when I was a stallion of 5, but she fled after I murdered her own foal. It was for the best I tell you, it was weak scrambling amongst the grasses like an unhealthy dying fawn and I only wanted younglings that would grow into fine stags and mares representing my cruelty and large, mesomorphic appearance. I would not stand for a weak foal that was likely to introduce me as a weak, sensative stallion for I am not, I feel nothing for others and never will.
Just remember Region as the stallion who will steal your mare's in the nights uncertainties, cast cruel centurys to kill foals but most of all think of me as the most powerful of all....

…Hearts Are Far Too Delicate To Be Worn Upon Others’ Sleeves…
-A Fae Of 4-
My Life Has Been Burned By The Ever Twisting Ropes Of The Past, And Now Even The Present Seems To Be Too Fatal To Survive. For I Have Learned The Consequences Of The World When One Should Test Ones Limits, Or Even Try To Change The Way Of Life.
My Past Or Former Life Is One Only I Shall Know, As For It Itself Is One Not Worth Speaking Or Even Thinking About…
My Present, Much Like My Past, Is Something I Would Rather Leave, But It Is No Secret.
I Live In The Tall Marsh Lands Of Averyl, Living Off Of The Seaweed And Marsh Grass. I Worry Not, About The Underwater Predators For The Marsh’s Waters Have Developed A Poison In Their Waters That I, Sadly, Appear To Be Immune To.
In The Marsh, No Equines Have Come Across My Home, And I Myself Do Not Go And Seek Others. I Live My Life In Isolation And Will Live It That Way Until My Way Out Of This World Is Complete. Rather Lying Still In The Water, Or Being Feasted Upon By The Earth Itself, Death Will Come To Me Soon And That Will Be The Best Day Of My Life.. Even If I Have To Wait.

::Grace::

My name reminds me of my mother, a kind, gentle mare who raised me untill I was two, for that was as long as she could. My name is Grace, my mothers, Angel. I am a young fae of four years, and I look that age aswell. My pelt is a strang color, I'm part paint, so I do have white patches that cover some of my 'red', or also described as 'orange' pelt. My eyes, nothing more than a dull shade of brown. My mane and tail are white, with a few strands of brown. Do I sound strange to you? I do sound strang to myself. But I'm really just an adverage fae that tries her best to mind her own buissness. I dont have the largest heart though, and trust close to no one, but some equines can befriend me, and only to them will I revel more about myself, so dont bother asking.

::Drake::

Being a stag of 6, I'm mature enough to know wether to trust you or not. For others have treated me harshly, but I've tolerated it for many years now. Im cautious, but that doesn't mean I'm not brave, strong, or loveable. I have a charm, that perswaded many others to earn a spot in their heart for me, but that spot usually remains for not long. But my heart is large, and alows many in it, many who never leave it. I roam the earth, searching for the one who would never, ever leave it, someone like myself. My body is painted chestnut, a brilliant color indeed, its color is the closest color possible to my fathers coat, a unique ruler than died of old age two years ago. My mane and tail resemble my mothers mane and tail, a gentle brown, and long. My hooves are the same brown as my mane and tail, and their slick, slick as ice. My eyes are a dark orange, also like my father. But why is it that you care of my looks? A stag is always judged on the way he acts, not by his apperince. I may act childish around the ones I want in my heart, or give obvious reasons, but I always keep most of my life secret, even around the ones in my heart.

The Barely Visible Sun,
Glowed Dully Against The Seemingly Transparent Tree Branches.
The Marsh Below, Blew A Musty Scent To The Nearby Nostrils Of Jaquel As It's Waters Heated Up.
The Young Mare's Ragged Pelt Intook The Heat Quickly, Isolating Her Body Heat And Making Her Temperature Rise, Uncomfortably. Though The Trees Above Did Seem To Shade Jaquel's Slender Body, The Sun Always Seemed To Find A Way, In And Out Through The Branches Or The Broken Leaves.
She Sighed Irritably, And Submerged Her Body Into The Waters Below,
Waves Creasing From The Push Of Her Weight And Drifting Away Into The Cat-Tails.
The Sun Still Burned Her Back, But Above All, The Water Did Cool Her Down. The Mare Brought Her Head Just Barely Above The Waves, Letting Them Kiss Her Cheeks & Chin Bit By Bit And Flared Her Nostrils In Serenity.

Drake's thin body made it through the brush almost as slow as his heart beated. The grass below him had faded into the boring color of grey, and if he tried to eat it, it would do him no good. He stopped suddenly when unfirmiliar scents flodded the air, not about to go much further. The stag let out a loud whinny, letting the others know of his presence. Thinking that he may not get a reply, he continued on his way.

Jacquel Dunked Her Head, Once More, Beneath The Surface Of The Murky Liquid,
Letting The Sun Completely Vanish From The View Of Her Faded Orbs As They Closed, Blocking Out The Water That Pounded At Her Lids.
It Was Quite Peaceful, To The Mare, Being Drown Out From The World Around Her. Though, It Was True That Most Of Her Current Life Was Held In Silence, Having The Feel Of Death So Close Seemed To Relax Her.
Jacquel Had Not Always Been So Suicidal, Infact, She Had Once Been A Very Sweet Caring Mare,
One Looked At The World With Eyes Unclouded By Rage And Hate... One That Had Once Been Apart Of Society...
The Mare Raised Her Head From The Grasp Of The Water, Droplets Sliding Off Of Her Ears And Silken Mane. The Uncomfortable Heat Of The Sun Returning To Her Wet Body And Releasing A Frustrated Sigh From Her Maw. It Seemed She Would Never Escape The Heat Of The Day, So Making Up Her Mind, She Started Towards The Shore, Letting Her Legs Drag In The Thick Liquid.
She Halted Almost Immediately, In The Water; A Shiver Running Through Her Pelt, Her Body Tense In Fear, And Her Ears Laid Back To The Crest Of Her Head. Had She Just Heard An Equine? Or Was She Hallucinating? The Mare Fell Silent, A Tremble Repeatedly Echoing Through Her Body And Her Teeth Clinching Nervously.

Drake shook his mane as he kept up with his rymthic trotting pace. He then broke into a canter, for he thought of no other way to get rid of his enormous(sp?) amount of energy that was usually squished up inside his large body. When the scent of an equine was stronger than all the others, he came slowly to a halt. Letting out a soft whinny, he lowered his head so that his neck line lined up with his shoulders.

Jacquel Locked Her White Orbs To The Opening Of The Murky Forests,
It Was The Only Vegetation That Hid The Mare From The World Around Her, But A Small Path Had Been Cut Through. Even Though, It Had Been A Year Ago When She Had Made It, It Had Stayed Exactly The Same Since.

The Shore Was Just Before Her Chest, And Needed Just A Step To Move Onto, But Jacquel Stood Statue Still. Another Equine's Scent Had Traveled Its Way Deep Into Her White Nostrils, Making Them Quite Easy To Detail, For She Knew It Was A Stallion Ahead Of Her. Of Course, His Call Was Also Helpful To Distinct His Gender, For Stallion's Were Always Deeper Than Mares. And His Appeared Quite Deep To Her, But That Might Have Been Due To The Fear In Her Body & Ears.

Hearing Yet Another Whinny, The Mare Lowered Her Head To The Water's Crease, Letting The Waves Lap Against Her Chin And Her Overall Fear Show. It Was Now, Completely Obvious That The Stallion Would Find Her, And She Hoped, Much Like Preyed, That He Would Not Turn Her Into Region. She Could See Him Now; Grabbing Her By Her Throat Latch With His Teeth, And Leading Her Into The Kingdom Of Hell, Where Region Would Stand Upon His Throne, And Have Her Executed By His Demons.

The Mare Shivered, And Whispered A Low Whicker, Hoping Her Fears Would Not Come True.

Drake raised his head when he had heard a reply. He could tell by the sound of it that the mare may be scared, or in some type of pain, but he was not sure. Letting his curiousity take over, he began to walk once again in her dirrection. Once the woods around him came to an end and his hooves began to sink into the sand, he spotted the mare. With his ears pricked, he slowly took a few steps closer to her, wanting to see if she would spook off, or allow him to come any closer. Lowering his head slowly, he signaled that he meant no harm to her or any one near.

For A Moment The Mare Was Absolutely Speechless,
As She Let Her Faded White Orbs Trail Over The Stallion's Large Structure.
His Pelt Was One She Had Not Seen Before, A Chestnut Based Paint That Glowed With A Fluent Gloss And Drew Her Orbs In, Then Led Them To His Mysterious Orange Orbs.
She Immediately Looked Down, Her Own Reflection Seemed Like A Pale Figure That Had Been Dug Up From The Ground And She Felt Self-Conscious In His Presence.

In The Past, Jaquel Had Held A Storm Cloud Cascaded Pelt, One That Gleamed Like A Sapphire In The Moonlight, One That Had Made Many Eyes Fall Upon Her. Now, It Had Grown Ragged, Camouflaging Her In With Her Blank Surroundings And Had Grown Quite Dirty. For She No Longer Cared For Or Groomed It. It Didn't Seem Important Before, But Her Mind Had Quickly Changed At The Look Of The Stallion.

He Was Standing At The Shoreline, While She Stood Awkwardly In The Liquid, Feeling Like A Fool. She Submerged Her Body Further Into The Marshwater, And Had It Not For Her Fur, A Bright Blush Would Have Shown Over Her Cheeks. There Was No Chance Of Leaving His Sight Now...

Drake tilted his head slightly at the mares behavior, and although he wanted to join her it the cool water, he held himself back. He continued in her dirrection though, stopping when the water was over his front hooves, but no deeper. He tossed his head playfully when he gave her annother look, not being able to decide if he should go deeper or retreat to the forest where he belonged. Flicking his tail, he snorted softly, giving a small whicker shortly after.

Racquel Tucked Her Head Close To Her Chest,
Letting The Stallion Known Of His Dominance, For She Was Not One To Enjoy Fights.
She Noticed His Movements Towards The Shoreline Of The Murk And Took A Step Backwards, Fear Returning To Her System.
She Kept Her Orbs Gazing Down, Though She Glanced Nervously In His Direction And Docked Her Ears To Listen To His Movements.

Taking a breath, he walked into the water, and soon was up to his chest in the cool liquid. Turning towards the fae, he walked slowly in her dirrection, meeting another would do him good, for he most likely wouldent encounter another for a few days, or weeks. Stoping a few feet from the mare, he spoke in a gentle and calm tone, now noticing her unexplained fear of him. "Hello." He said, not wanting to tell his name to her, yet.

Racquel Tossed Her Head To The Side,
Flinging Her Mane Into Her Face To Hide Her White Orbs.
Loosing The Sight Of The Stallion And The World Around Her,
Darkness Flooded Into Her View And Relaxed Her For A Moment.

The Mare Sighed Silently And Reopened Her Eyes,
Letting The Sun Rays Destroy Her Last Moment Of Her Peace She Noticed That The Stallion Had Said Something To Her.

"Hello.." Racquel's Voice Was Shaking As She Spoke,
But The Famine Base Was Well Noticable And For The First Time She Let Her White Orbs Meet His.
